Mike Gales and the Warriorz are a high powered funk unit. Consisting of Mike Gales on guitar, the Warriorz are made up of a variety of different musicians. Their sound has been described as a mixture of funk, rock and blues. They’ve performed up and down the east coast from New York City to Charleston South Carolina. Their music ranges from the funk of George Clinton to the acid jazz of Jaco Pastorious.

Mike Gales has toured with George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, R&B vocalist Jill Scott and Jazz saxophonist, Donald Blackwell.

After touring with George Clinton, Mike Gales realized the need for his unique guitar style to go to the next level. Mike Gales and the Warriorz has done exactly that, by fusing funk, improvisational jazz and blues/rock.
